— the whole guide is made by less than 10 people - this is the editorial board, fact check, design, work with volunteers (of which there are more than 200), and community management. The number of authors who help the guide with information is comparable to the number of subscribers in all chats (and there are more than 300k)
— working inside the product, it is sometimes difficult to assess its direct effectiveness - roughly speaking, how many people we have helped to flee. The surveys that we conduct do not take into account many presets, but thanks to WP, several ultimate success stories were found. It's also cool because it shows how powerful information is. We don’t have time to help everyone single-handedly, and the fact that people can simply read useful materials based on the experience of the community, and help themselves on their thanks to it is just wow, I’m astonished every day
— besides the fact that the guide is a community-based project, it has also grown into a multi-product company - the main wiki, chats, articles on media resources, a
telegram bot Most for communicating with loved ones about the war (this is such a thrill, and there are also several cool effectiveness metrics, that should be described separately), and many other pieces are on the way.
Amazingly, so many great things came about thanks to the initiative of the sole person Ira Lobanovskaya, who continues to be the project's energy driver and has assembled a phenomenal team with various skills. It is good that this was noticed at the international level as well.
