Concurrence - это не конкуренция!
У нас уже давно в англо-русских словарях переводят это слово, как конкуренция!
Но слово имеет в английском (американском) совсем другое значение Merriam-Webster :

И даже более того, даёт пример из французского юридического языка:

Поскольку знаю и французский и английский, а французский гораздо лучше и глубже, то всегда понимаю и нахожу французскую этимологию многих английских слов, но никогда в голову не приходила идея переводить английские слова в ангийском тексте значением слова во французском языке, если таковое отсутствует в английском языке! Это просто и категорически не допустимо для переводчика!
